Abolition 2000, a coalition of some 2,000 organizations that want to abolish nuclear weapons, met recently in Geneva, Switzerland to rate progress in the global anti-nuclear movement.

This is true even in countries that possess nuclear weapons according to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons or ICAN, a new civil society initiative dedicated to the hope of a nuclear free world.
